Oxe FM Synth was published by DTM Magazine 2008 9. It was referenced on page 24 and the installer comes in the DVD vol 171, shipped with this edition.

I’m a sound designer myself (I work for Yamaha, Korg, and Dave Smith Instruments). This is the first time I have sent a donation to a software developer.

I think OxeFM sounds fantastic – easily as good as NI’s FM8, maybe even better. Great programming of the presets too.

I have lots of VI’s but this is in my top 10 of all time. Great work!

I’m glad to announce that Oxe FM Synth was published on Computer Music magazine. This special issue is about “The best free plug-ins ever!” and comes with a CD containing the softwares covered. My product have won almost a entire page as you can see on image (click to enlarge).

I am happy to announce that Oxe FM Synth has appeared on the Top 200 VSTi plugins list, recommended by the Japanese magazine DTM Magazine, for the second consecutive year.

Today I woke up with this beautiful magazine on my bed. Thanks to Yohei Yamamoto for everything. The magazine has travelled from Japan to Brazil in only seven days, in perfect conditions.

In the last 3 years, due to a life dedicated to work and family, I get to work in Oxe FM Synth in rare moments, without any releases. I would really like to had done more, but…
Oxe FM Synth is not completly frozen. To help to show it, I’ve decided to change the site. Now I’m using a blog system to manage the site content, as well to offer RSS and a easy way to write something when I have will. Before, while using a static site, it wasn’t possible before doing some web coding and uploading by FTP at home.
But… why now? Simple answer: vacation on Petrolina city (Pernambuco, Brazil). I’ve get to work hard on my personal projects in my last holidays on Petrolina, 3 years before . My two last vacations before the current were inappropriate to work. Sucks…
Now that the site is done, I’ll try to work on the main product.

Released Oxe FM Synth 1.1.2 (thanks to Summa by tests and new patches).

Changes:

- Fixed the problem caused when the filter resonance is zero;
- Added new bandlimited saw and square waveforms;
- Fixed the problem with release time of OPZ;
- Is allowed that the frequency of an operator starts in 0Hz;
- Changed the units of coarse tune knob in LCD;
- Added a new switch, per program, called “High Quality”;
- Added inverted values for Mod Wheel Destination;
- Fixed saved state of channels on GUI;

Released Oxe FM Synth 1.1.1.

Changes:

- Fixed the problem of total silence with some hosts;
- Improved the VST SDK 2.3 integration (program and bank management, .FXP/.FXB, midiProgramNames);
- Fixed the GUI LCD update when the program is changed via MIDI;
- Added a solution to edit program names in Tracktion (Trackion get all keystrokes from plugin and activate its defaults key-mappings);
- Added a algorithm to reallocate notes when the polyphony was exceeded.

Released Oxe FM Synth 1.1.0 (thanks to Marc Hoppe by beta-testing).

Changes:

- Translated some error messages that remains in portuguese;
- Added a bank navigator;
- Added knobs of Reverb and Delay sends per channel (in a moment, this is do via MIDI controllers);
- Added a dialog box to choose the output sound device in EXE version;
- Fixed the problem of knobs that don’t was showed;
- Fixed the send of names of programs to the VST Host;
- Fixed the problem of different sound banks for VST and EXE;
- Fixed the problems to rename the patches in VST Version;
- Fixed some minor bugs;
- When the application is closed the state of channels is saved;
- Fixed the problem of stuck notes.
